Chemistry Open House

The Story

Each year, I designed the materials for the Texas A&M Chemistry department Open House. Over 2000 people from the Central Texas community gather to the College Station campus to learn about Chemistry. Signage, materials and volunteer shirts are all branded to help welcome the public and escort them through the winding building enjoying the day's events.

The Results

The goal was to create a sense of excitement, fun and wonder. We made custom balloon arches to designate entry points, flags & banners to direct foot traffic on campus. T-shirts to quickly identify volunteers. And lastly, we made custom notebooks (with stamps, stickers) to work as a "passport." Each student could go through the event, collecting various educational checkpoints, to earn a prize.
