The Story

Created to spark conversation establish awareness regarding Southwestern University’s role in changing the face of higher education. Target is influencers in higher education and donors. Unlike traditional annual reports, this was intentionally written and designed to read in one fluid letter. And there was not the usual numbers/infographics section. The goal was to get folks to read it quickly and understand the impact Southwestern hoped to make on higher education in the next year.


The Results

Because of our demographic (institutional leaders & influencers) I chose more traditional fonts and classic colors for the interiors while using strong, colorful photography to complement the story as it went. The mix of page construction was intentional to help create the sense of new thinking to mimic the overall theme of the story.

Online, I tried to create a similar flow by sectioning the content and allowing the reader to discover new topics as they scrolled down.
